Pakistan requires a 35x45 mm (413x531 pixels at 300 DPI) passport photo with a white or light blue background, administered by the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) under the Ministry of Interior. Pakistan issues both standard and e-Passports, with e-Passport photos requiring stricter ICAO biometric compliance. The DGIP accepts applications at passport offices nationwide and through Pakistani missions abroad. Photos must show the full face with neutral expression and both eyes visible. For female applicants, a dupatta or hijab is permitted but the face must remain fully visible.
