Latvian passports are issued by the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (PMLP). The photo measures 40x50mm and is taken against a uniform light grey background with the face centred. Lighting must be even so there are no red eyes or heavy shadows on the face or backdrop. Glasses are allowed only if they have no tint, no flash reflection, thin frames, and do not cover the eyes.
