Overview

Lebanese passports are issued by the General Directorate of General Security (Surete Generale), which runs the biometric passport system. The official size is 35x45mm, used here at 413x531 pixels, on a plain white or very light grey background. The photo must be recent and in colour, with both ears visible, the eyes open, and a neutral expression. Head coverings are only accepted for religious reasons with supporting documentation, and applicants are usually asked to bring two identical prints.
