Senegal's passports are issued by the Direction de la Police des Etrangers et des Titres de Voyage (DPETV) under the national police. The photo is 35x45mm, and Senegal is more flexible on background than most, accepting white, light grey, or light blue as long as it stays uniform. The face should fill most of the frame in a straight frontal view. The image must be recent, sharp, and in full colour.

Keep any smile minimal, a relaxed neutral face is safest.
Light the face evenly from the front to avoid one dark side.
If you must wear glasses, tilt them slightly to remove lens reflections.
Centre the head and leave a small gap above the hair to the frame edge.
