Serbian passports are issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) through local police stations, with biometric photos usually captured on site during the application. The standard print size is 35x45mm on a light, plain background, typically white or off-white. Head height from chin to crown runs about 31.5 to 36mm, roughly 70-80% of the frame, following ICAO biometric guidance. Serbia allows ordinary clear glasses to stay on, but tinted or dark lenses are not accepted.

  • Head coverings for religious reasons are allowed when the face is fully shown.
