Огляд

Venezuela's passports are issued by SAIME, the Servicio Administrativo de Identificacion, Migracion y Extranjeria, the only authority allowed to issue Venezuelan passports. While SAIME's domestic capture is biometric, the widely accepted print photo standard is 35x45mm on a pure white background. The picture must be very recent and show a clear, neutral frontal view. Use full colour with sharp focus and accurate skin tones.

A pure white background with no patterns, shadows, or objects; cream or off-white is not accepted.

  • Use a true white wall or backdrop, since off-white shades get rejected.
  • Take the photo recently, as SAIME expects a current likeness.
  • Stand far enough from the backdrop to avoid any cast shadow.
  • Light the face evenly from the front for flat, neutral exposure.
  • If a printed copy is needed, some offices ask for the photographer to sign the back.
