Огляд
Oman passports are issued by the Royal Oman Police, Directorate General of Passports and Residence. The standard photo is 40x50mm on a plain blue background, which is unusual since most Gulf neighbours ask for white. Applicants typically submit several recent prints taken within the last six months, and the face must be centred and looking straight at the camera. Oman is strict about the blue tone, so a white or grey backdrop is a common reason for rejection.
A uniform light blue backdrop with no shadows, patterns, or objects behind the subject.

Поширені причини відмови
- White, grey, or coloured background instead of blue.
- Smiling, frowning, or any exaggerated expression.
- Shadows falling on the face or behind the head.

Поради

- Keep hair off the face so the full outline shows.
- Avoid heavy makeup that changes your natural look.
